Lisa Natoli, also known as Iron Fanny, is an aerial performance artist living everywhere and nowhere. She is a sought after aerialist known for her unconventional approach and intensity of artistic curiosity. Her art isn't printed, published, or filmed. It can't be sold off a merch table. It exists for a moment of beauty, right in front of you, and then it's gone. Lisa worked on a creation project with Spiegelworld, directed by Steven Hoggett, at St. Ann’s Warehouse, NYC (2017), and was in Elizabeth Munn’s work I Can't Sleep, presented at Dixon Place, NYC (2019). Lisa presented Some Animals Are Easily Startled as a resident artist at Art Klub NOLA (Sept 2019), and presented a staged reading of Nostalgia Will Kill A Room at Dixon Place/Femme Fest (Feb 2020). She received a space grant from 5th Wall Studios in Brooklyn to create solo work and has an upcoming residency at The Church in Mount Vision, NY (June 2021).
