fleeting moments began in notebooks, as I traveled from gig to gig, across NYC and overseas. I collected observations, adventures, and character studies. Hastily written incomplete sentences, these seeds of ideas were stored away to be planted later, but there was never time. Until, all of a sudden, there was time. With the City Point residency, I have the opportunity to further develop these vignettes in more height than an apartment, and on smoother floors than an old barn.
